GORDO - Linda Elmore Kilgore, age 65, of Gordo, died December 29, 2016, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday, January 2, 2017, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shawn McDaniel and Rev. Glen Sandifer officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be immediately following the service.She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ronny Elmore.Survivors include her husband, Brian Kilgore; daughter, Shelli Kilgore of Gordo, Ala.; son, Jim Kilgore of Gordo, Ala.; and brother, Donny Elmore (Monica) of Eutaw, Ala.Linda was born on October 28, 1951 in Tuscaloosa, Ala. to the late Willard Elmore and Nona Faye Ray Elmore. She was a graduate of Gordo High School, a cosmetologist and entrepreneur. She attended Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and was a well-known resident of the Gordo community.Honorary pallbearers are Josh Pate, Jeremy Pate, Chris Pate, Kenneth Blake, Kip Ryan and Brian Lancaster.
