Linda Bess Narramore, age 81, of Gordo, AL passed away December 16, 2024 at her residence.  Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Yancy Windham officiating.  Burial will be in Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Northport with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cortis and Eleese Bess; brother,   Michael Bess; sisters-in-law, Freya Bess and Linda D. Bess and in-laws, Charles and Octavia Green.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Ronnie Narramore of Gordo; daughters, Teresa Acker (Rex) of Coker and Tanya Whitley (Walter) of Coker; son, Todd Narramore (Rylie) of Gordo; brother, Johnny Bess of Trussville; six grandchildren, Ryan Acker (Lara), Dylan Acker (Natalie), Cody Whitley, Cade Whitley, Ryker Narramore and Raelyn Narramore and three great-grandchildren, Finn Acker, Lincoln Acker and Caroline Acker.
Linda was born July 9, 1943 in Winfield, Alabama to the late Cortis Bess and Eleese Abbott Bess.  She was a member of the Baptist faith and a retired employee of the VA Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Acker, Dylan Acker, Cody Whitley, Cade Whitley, Mike Estes and David Floyd.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Hospice of West Alabama, 3851 Loop Road, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.
