GORDO – Linda Joyce Spain Skelton, age 59, of Gordo, Ala., died April 18, 2016, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 4 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2016, at Bethel Cemetery with Bro. John Mitchell officiating and Skelton Funeral of Reform directing.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Winston Spain and grandparents, Preston and Eula Spain and Luther and Lois Hardy.
Survivors include her sons, Darby Kelly and John Kelly, Sr.; mother, Mary L. Spain; sister, Roxanne Spain Pate (Brian); brother, Joe Stephen Spain; grandson, John Lucas Kelly, Jr.; nieces, Sierra Nicole Spain, Adrianna Nicole Pate and Brittney Shea Pate; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins; and ex-husband, Harold Skelton.
Joyce was born April 16, 1957 in Reform, Alabama. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and a former pharmacy technician for Walmart Pharmacy.
