Lisa Jane Plowman, age 66, of Gordo, AL passed away October 31, 2024 at her residence.  Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, November 3, 2024 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bud Sullivan officiating.  Burial will be in Zion Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Jerry Wade Plowman; her parents; sisters, Bonnie Cargile and Cindy Cargile; brother, Mitchell Cargile and grandparents, Johnny and Virgie Sullivan.
Survivors include her sons, Joseph Plowman (Leigh Ann) of Irondale, John Travis Plowman (Macie) of Winfield and Jerry D. "Shorty" Plowman (Allison) of Gordo; sisters, Wanda Lanham (Len) of Mineral Wells, WV, Cathy Stough of Hueytown, Linda Mullenix of Gordo, Debbie Marlowe (Clarence) of Gordo and Tammy Sims (Will) of Ethelsville; brothers, Billy Cargile of Gordo, Tony Cargile (Brenda Gail) of Tuscaloosa, Terrell Cargile (Brenda Lee) of Gordo, Darrell Cargile of Dothan, John Daniel Cargile (Jennifer) of Hamilton, Kenneth Thomas of Reform and Jason Thomas (Brittney) of Buhl; ten grandchildren, Roman, Royal, Ryleigh, River, Reese, Olivia, Kaiden, Hazlie, Jaicee and Ryder Plowman and special friend, Eric Brown of Gordo.
Lisa was born October 11, 1958 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to the late John Thomas Cargile and Willodean Sullivan Cargile.  She was a former employee of Cheeky's in Gordo.
Her grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
Honorary Pallbearers are Eric Brown, Airon Abston, Tanner Skelton, Brad Akin and Mike Hall.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Hospice of West Alabama, 3851 Loop Road, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.
