Louise M. Froman, age 93, of Columbus, MS passed away December 16, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel in Columbus with Bro. Kenny Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Froman, her parents and sister, Eloise Brock (Watt).
Survivors include her daughters, Mary Whitehead (Billy) of Houston, TX and Janice Froman of Columbus, MS; three grandchildren, Schatzi Whitehead, William L. Whitehead III and Whitney Whitehead and two great-grandchildren, Korene Pirkle (Nathan) and Parker Kole Whitehead.
Louise was born August 21, 1929 in West, Mississippi to the late Elam McBride and Aileen Grantham McBride. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, a homemaker and a retired employee of Seminole Manufacturing in Columbus.
Pallbearers will be Tony Walls, Mike Langford, Tony Collier, Danny Sudduth, Little Mick Allen and David Skelton.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Columbus Lowndes Humane Society, 50 Airline Road, Columbus, MS 39701.
