ALICEVILLE | Lucy Mae Sims Bush Hogue, age 91, of Aliceville, died January 15, 2016, at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at Dogwood Chapel, 200 Fifth Street Northeast, Aliceville, Ala. 35442, with Rev. David Blakney officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to service and immediately following the service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Bush; son-in-law, Leon Montgomery; one sister; and three brothers.Survivors include her husband, Joseph Hogue; daughters, Patsy Montgomery, Peggy Hayes, Pam Parham (Ken); stepdaughters, Jeannie King and Rebecca Harshman; brother, J.C. Sims (Lorene); grandchildren, Randy Robertson (Gladys) Ronny Robertson, Mike Montgomery, Cindy Rose and Eddie Parham (Meredith); nine great grandchildren; and ten great great grandchildren.Lucy Mae Sims Bush Hogue was born May 16, 1924 in Pickens County, Ala. to the late John Henry Sims and Trudy Fulgham Sims. She was retired employee of Westinghouse in Reform, Ala. and a member of West End Baptist Church. Lucy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
