Obituary

Mack Booth, age 83, of Gordo, AL passed away November 17, 2024 at his residence.  Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Randy Anderson officiating.  Burial will be in Greenhill Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  Visitation will be one hour prior and immediatley following the service at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Wilson Booth; his parents; brothers, Jack booth and John William Booth and sisters, Vauldine Findley, Christine Quimby, Joan Hollingsworth and Pearlie Wilson.
Survivors include his daughter, Sabrina Booth; son Jeff Booth (Tammy); sister, Betty Bayliss; two grandchildren, Tyler Booth and Hunter Booth (Maci);  four great-grandchildren, Paul Booth, Evie Booth, Lillian Booth and Mary Scott Booth and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mack was born October 12, 1941 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Gurley Booth and Novelle Elmore Booth.  He was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church, a retired welder for Campbell and Associates and a veteran of the Army National Guard.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Booth, Hunter Booth, Paul Booth, Brad Hopkins, Mickey Walker, Dudley Plowman, Rodney Smith and Rufus Wilkins.
Honorary Pallbearers are the Jack's crew, Cattle on a Flame crew and the Piggly Wiggly crew.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to New Harmony Baptist Church, 112 7th Street SW, Gordo, AL 35466.
