CULLMAN - Margaret Alexander Finch, age 87, of Cullman, AL and formerly of Aliceville passed away December 5, 2022 at Woodland Village Rehab & Health Care Center in Cullman, AL. Private graveside services were held 2:00 pm Friday, December 9, 2022 at Franconia-Oak Grove Cemetery in Aliceville, AL with Rev. Gene Lankford officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Arthur Gordon Finch, Jr; her daughter, Deborah Finch Newton and her parents.
Survivors include her sons, Arthur Gordon "Skip" Finch III (Karen) and James Douglas Finch (Erin); son-in-law, Ricci Newton; brother, Michael Hall (Edna); six grandchildren, Arthur Gordon Finch IV (Laura), Lindsay Finch Gordon (Nicholas), Alexander Grayson Finch (Rebecca), Allison Marie Finch Walker (Travis), Alyssa Jane Finch and Peter Dawson Finch and eight great-grand-children, Nicalos Gordon, Tyler Gordon, Allie Grace Finch, Avery Taylor Finch, Asher Gordon Finch, Abbey Finch, Alexander Grayson Finch, Jr. and Brady Quinn Walker.
Margaret was born February 16, 1935 in Double Springs, Alabama to the late James E. Alexander and Marie Moody Alexander. She was a home- maker and a member of Alice- ville First United Methodist Church.
Her sons and grandsons served as Pallbearers.
