Margie Smith Daniel, age 83, of Gordo, AL died December 22, 2025 at Arbor Woods Health & Rehab. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday, December 26, 2025 Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Trey Reece officiating.  Burial will be in Greenhill Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include her husband, Donald K. Daniel; two daughters, Pam Plowman and husband, Van and Cindy Burkhalter and husband, Junior; sisters, Faye Coppage (Billy) and Martha Langston; brother-in-law, Billy Daniel; four grandchildren, Michelle Sutton (Scott), Jacoby Plowman (Kristen), Thomas McDaniel (Briana) and Dylan Plowman (Darby); seven great-grandchildren, Sage, Era Kate, Case, Ali Lee, Hayes, Sadie and Houston and a number of nieces and nephews.
Margie was born November 4, 1942 in Elba, Alabama to the late Burie Smith and Era Lee Parker Smith.  She was a retired secretary/bookkeeper for Daniel Logging.
Pallbearers will be Scott Sutton, Jacoby Plowman, Thomas McDaniel, Dylan Plowman, Jason West and Tommy Williams.
