REFORM | Margie Guy Stokes, age 81, of Reform, Alabama, died December 20, 2015, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Trey Reece officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhill Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and after the service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Stokes; infant daughter, Patsy Ann Fair; her parents; sister, Ellen Potts; brother, Lester Guy; and son-in-law, Gary Duncan.
Survivors include her daughter, Shelia Fair Duncan of Homewood, Ala.; son, Phillip J. Fair of Reform, Ala.; and other extended family members; grandchildren, Randy T. Duncan (Calaine) and Shannan Duncan Navez (Alex); great-grandchildren, Ike Navez and Oliver Navez; a nephew and a number of nieces; and special friend, Sarah Spain.
Margie was born April 11, 1934 in Reform, Ala. to the late Hugh Guy and Leona Hester Guy. Mrs. Stokes attended Reform Church of God, was a retired nurse's aide at Salem Nursing Home and a lifelong resident of Reform.
