Margie Faye Vinson Free, age 75, of Gordo, Alabama died November 13, 2018 at Aliceville
Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, November17, 2018 at Emmanuel
Baptist Church with Rev. Travis Free, Rev. Hershel Owen and Rev. Brannon Pinion officiating. Burial
will follow in Greenhill Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation
will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the church. She was preceded in death
by her son, Tony Free; her parents; two sisters; two brothers and three half-sisters.
Survivors include her husband: James Harrell Free; her daughter, Jaime Dameron; her son, Timothy
Free (Jennifer); three sisters, Betty Dubose, Frances Reeder and Sis Vinson; three brothers, Tom Vinson,
Allen Vinson and Bonnie Vinson; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a number of nieces
and nephews.
Margie was born April 12, 1943 in Athens, Alabama to the late Benton Lee Vinson and Mary
Martha Hamsley Vinson. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and a retired seamstress
for Country Miss.
Pallbearers will be Deacons of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Honorary Pallbearers are the staff of Aliceville Manor Nursing Home and Dr. Warren's office staff.
