Margie Eloise Walker, age 82, of Carrollton, AL died December 7, 2019 at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Monday, December 9, 2019 at Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery in Carrollton with Rev. Dan O'Mary officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be after the service in the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Lavert Walker, her parents and siblings, Juanita McDaniel, Louvenia Lollar, Waymon Goodman, Peggy Farley, Charles Goodman and Agnes Ziontz.
Survivors include three sons, Mike Walker (Sandra), Mark Walker (Selena) and Mickey Walker (Beth); sister, Darcus Goodman; four grandchildren, Michael Walker, Andrew Walker (Labriska), Wesley Walker (Jessica) and Courtney O'Neal (Preston); five great-grandchildren, Katelyn Reynolds (Wesley), Billy Walker, Mary Liz O'Neal, Jonathan Walker and Huntley Walker; one great-great grandchild, Ryan Reynolds and numerous nieces and nephews.
Margie was born September 20, 1937 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late John Wesley Goodman and Elsie Mae Taylor Goodman. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Carrollton and a retired employee of Westinghouse.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Walker, Michael Walker, Billy Walker, Charlie McDaniel, Hugh Duncan and Bobby Ziontz.
Honorary Pallbearers are her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Crossroads Baptist Church, 529 Lewis Crossroads Road, Carrollton, AL 35447.
