Marilyn Anderson, age 70, of Gordo, AL passed away March 24, 2024 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.  Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Damon Rose officiating.  Burial will be in Gordo City Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Mitcheal Anderson; daughter, Tanya Falls and husband, Lonnie; brother, Milton Roderick Brown (Dot); two grandchildren, Cody Shirley (Kayla) and Tori Freeman; seven great-grandchildren, Dakota Shirley, Coleman Shirley, Rayleigh Shirley, Justin "Little Man" Allen, Jr., Blakley Isbell, Ellie Harris and Alyssa Jones and in-laws, Gary Anderson (Carolyn), Sherree Anderson (Jimmy) and Djuana Hamner (Scott).
Marilyn was born October 5, 1953 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to the late Archie Roderick Brown and Billie Sue Morris Brown.  She was a member of Gordo Church of God of Prophecy and a retired clerk.
Pallbearers will be Cody Shirley, Dakota Shirley, Justin Allen, Jr., Chad Anderson, Sean Anderson and Lonnie Mouser.
Honorary Pallbearers are staff of Aliceville Manor Nursing Home and members of Gordo Church of God of Prophecy.
