Martha "Matt" Heritage Hester, age 87, of Aliceville, AL passed away February 20, 2021 at her home. A private service will be held at a later date.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin L. Hester and her parents.
Martha was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who is survived by daughters, Gloria Hester and Venus Hester; sons, Wayne Hester and wife, Debbie and Douglas Hester and wife, Christie; five grandchildren, Michelle Hester, Christopher Hester (Jennifer), Tonya Hester, Trevor Hester and Sydney Hester and two brothers, Jack Heritage and James "Jimmy" Heritage.
Martha was born January 29, 1934 in Carrollton, Alabama to the late William Webster Heritage and Lottie Sue Heritage. She was a retired employee of Huyck Felt Company.
She lived her life lovingly, giving and caring for others,
A true virtuous woman, her price far above rubies.
Her radiance will continue to shine as her works will now, praise her
And her children arise up, in her honour and call her blessed.
She can rejoice now, for her time has come.
She has run the race set before her and has indeed, finished well.
Her equal does not exist for She excels them all,
Dearly loved, she will be greatly missed.
