Martha Ray Yarbrough, age 84, of Reform, AL passed away March 22, 2022 at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Friday, March 25, 2022 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mark Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery in Carrollton with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be immediately following the service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. D. Yarbrough; her parents; brothers, Stanley, Virgil and Ruben Harrell; sister, Betty Bass and daughter-in-law, Bridget Yarbrough.
Survivors include her children, Bobby Yarbrough (Linda), Shenia Alexander, Freddie Yarbrough (Juanita), Marilyn Steen (Jay), Joan Martino (Jerry), John Yarbrough and James Yarbrough (Amy); seventeen grandchildren, Amber and Hunter Yarbrough, Jessica and Daniel Alexander, Jennifer Arnold (Robin), Amanda Fest (Tyler), Eric Yarbrough, David Steen (Miranda), Jason Steen (Megan), Brittney Hudson (Mitch), Kacey Lowe, Morgan Yarbrough, Jaci Yarbrough, Justin Butler, Taylor Yarbrough (Morgan), Alex Yarbrough and Noah Yarbrough and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Martha was born March 16, 1938 in the Pine Grove community of Ethelsville, Alabama to the late Solomon Lyhue Harrell and Mary Lou Swedenburg Harrell. She was a member of Reform Church of God and a retired seamstress.
Her grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
