ETHELSVILLE - Mary Virginia Richardson Bell, age 69, of Ethelsville, died July 3, 2016, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at Forest Methodist Church with Rev. Jimmy Ray officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Clifton and Monroe Richardson; and four sisters, Betty Jo Mills, Marjorie Burkhalter, Eva Wilcox and Sue Hodge.
Survivors include her husband, William Dewey Bell; daughter, Kim Bell; son, Mike Talley; sister, Elizabeth Shaw; and granddaughter, Brandi Talley.
Mary Virginia Bell was born March 26, 1947 in Columbus, Mississippi to the late James C. Richardson and Geneva Martin Richardson. She was a retired employee of Micro Tech Medical in Columbus, Miss., a member of Ethelsville Baptist Church and well known resident of the Ethelsville community.
Honorary pallbearers are Tommy and Patsy Alexander, Jerry and Valerie Dodds, Doug and Norma Wilcox, Edwin and Shirley Reed, Clyde and Linda Barmore and Johnny and Patsy Hocutt. The family wishes to say a special thank you to Dr. Keith DeBell and staff and Dr. Warren Holley and staff. -
