COTTONDALE – Mary Smith Gulsby, age 65, of Cottondale, Ala., died August 28, 2017, at her home. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, August 31, 2017, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kevin Taylor officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be tonight, Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Smith and brothers, Troy Smith, Jr. "Rusty" and Timothy Smith.
Survivors include her husband, Cecil Ray Gulsby; daughter, Tammy Head; sons, Donald Strickland (Cindy) and Richard Strickland (Kim); father, Troy Smith, Sr.; grandchildren, Daniel Strickland, Dustin Head and Courtney Strickland; great-granddaughter, Abigail McDaniel; special niece, Tori Smith; stepdaughters, Shalon, Brittney and Bridgett; stepson, Greg; two step-grandchildren; brothers, Gary Smith and Greg Smith; sisters, Donna Schaffer (Eric) and Teresa Nugent; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mary was born December 13, 1951 in Lakehurst, New Jersey. She was a former sales clerk at the Amoco Station in Reform, Ala.
