Mary Gale Bryan Potts, age 77, of Aliceville, AL died December 9, 2018 at her home. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, December, 12, 2018 at Aliceville First Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Potts, Rev. Charlie Wilson and Rev. Tommy Winders officiating. Burial will follow in
Magnolia Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be tonight, Tuesday, Dec. 11th from 6 - 8 pm at the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Ronnie Bryan and Bill Bryan.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Larry D. Potts; her sons, Bryan K. Potts (Lynn) and
Kevin L. Potts (Angie); five grandchildren, Michael Potts (Kali), Logan Potts, Allie Rae Burkhalter (Tucker),
Brandon Potts (Hannah) and Max Potts and two great-grandchildren, Wilson Burkhalter and Riley Potts.
Mary was born November 20, 1941 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Grover and Mildred Bryan.
She was a member of Aliceville First Baptist Church and a retired employee of Lewis Lumber Company.
Mary was a devoted wife of 56 years. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a faithful servant of her Lord and God. She was a member of the Sojourners Sunday
School Class and she loved teaching Sunday school, singing in the choir; she loved her church.
Pallbearers will be Michael Potts, Logan Potts, Brandon Potts, Max Potts, Tucker Burkhalter
and Bobby Potts.
Honorary Pallbearers are Amedisys Hospice and special Hospice care givers, Nicki, Tasha and
Teresa.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and the
Alabama Baptist Disaster Relief Fund at Aliceville First Baptist Church, 323 Broad Street, Aliceville, AL
35442.
