Mary Loyce Sutton, age 78, of Gordo, AL passed away November 4, 2023 at Arbor Woods Health & Rehab in Reform.  Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shawn McDaniel and Rev. Leonard Hudson officiating.  Burial will be in Center-Springs Cemetery in Gordo with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Melvin Sutton and her parents.
Survivors include her two daughters, Gail Beams (Dwayne) and Jalaine Craft (Bert); three sisters, Melba Moss, Dot Driver and Betty Sue Maughan; three brothers, William Stephens, Rodney Sanders and Randy Sneed and five grandchildren, Kaleb Beams (Blair), Jacob Beams (Bethany), Kaitlyn Craft, Drake Craft and Kaden Craft.
Mary was born April 1, 1945 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late William Silas Stephens and Mary Etta Rigsby Stephens.  She was a member of Sand Springs Methodist Church, a retired seamstress for X-L Manufacturing and Country Miss and former employee in the floral department of Home Accents.
Her grandchildren will serve as Pallbearers.
Honorary Pallbearers are Jean Clark, Donna Hamilton, Darcus Goodman, staff and residents of Arbor Woods, employees of Home Accents and Gordo High School Class of 1963.
