GORDO | Mary Frances Wilburn, age 81, of Gordo, Ala., died December 18, 2015, at Grandview Medical Center. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2015, in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Don Springer officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, December 21, 2015, at Skelton Funeral Home.She was preceded in death by her parents, Nova C. Mote and Dora L. Ivey Mote; son, Steven L. Wilburn; four sisters, Jennie L. Jones, Geneva Whitfield, Doris Lunceford and Joyce Lowery; three brothers, Floyd M. Mote, Terrell Mote and Billy Mote.Survivors include her husband, Smith Wilburn; sons, Marcus L. Wilburn (Beverly) and Drew W. Wilburn (Wendy); brother, Willie Glen "Bud" Mote (Addie Rue); grandchildren, Kevin J. Pevey (Ashley), Rachel L. Anderson (Colby), Travis C. Wilburn, Robert L. Wilburn, Sarah W. White (James), Emily J. Wilburn, Lucas D. Wilburn, Jackson R. Hall and Eli B. Hall; great grandchildren, Steven Pevey and John Joseph Pevey.Mary Frances was born June 6, 1934, in Jay, Florida to the late Nova C. Mote and Dora L. Ivey Mote. Mrs. Wilburn was a homemaker and a longtime resident of the Gordo area.
