Maudie Pauline Lancaster, age 93, of Gordo, AL died July 30, 2026 at Fayette Medical Center Long Term Care. Memorial services will be 6:00 pm Thursday, August 6, 2026 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Lenwood Gilliland officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Carter Lancaster; her sons, Jeffrey Wayne Lancaster and William Gordon Lancaster; her parents; sister, Virginia and brothers, Leslie, Leon and Dennis.

Survivors include her daughter, Sheila Yvonne Borders of Tuscaloosa; son, Donald Wade Lancaster of Gordo; three grandchildren, Heather Borders, Scott Lancaster and Jeremy Everette; seven great-grandchildren, Zoey Borders, Brayden Townsend, Brantley Townsend, Blaze Townsend, Brynlee Townsend, Blake Townsend and Banks Simmons and great-great grandchild, Cruze Townsend.

Pauline was born July 23, 1933 in Gordo, Alabama to the late Jessie Thurman Montgomery and Mattie Lee Wheat Montgomery. She was a member of Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church and a retired seamstress for Country Miss.
