Michael Eugene “Mike” Richards, age 64, of Gordo, AL died July 01, 2026 at Baldwin Medical Center in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Monday, July 6, 2026 at Hannah Church with Bro. Bill Richards and Bro. Dusty Jones officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be from 1:30 - 3:00 pm at the church.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Mae Maddox Richards.

Survivors include his wife, Tracy O’Bryant Richards; father, Bro. Bill Richards; daughters, Crystal Richards, Catherine Miller (Ben Mabry), Kendra Sudduth (Phillip) and Riley Campbell; sons, Trent Richards (Brianna Reliford) and Logan Miler; brother, Billy Richards (Carissa); sister, Connie Rushing (Glenn) and three grandchildren, Ellie Sudduth, Emmie Sudduth and Bailey Richards.

Mike was born October 18, 1961 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He attended Vestavia Elementary and Riverside Junior High and graduated in 1980 from Tuscaloosa County High School. Mike was a member of Hannah Church in Gordo and was employed with Bama Concrete.

Pallbearers will be Trent Richards, Dennis Boswell, Butch Thomas, Jeff Lesley, James Rushing, Dan Scrivner, Charles Grantham, Lee Richards and Billy Payne.

Honorary Pallbearers are Bama Concrete and WAM.
