Misty Dawn Moore Merchant, age 47, of Gordo, AL passed away November 7, 2024 at her residence.  Memorial services will be 6:00 pm Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel in Reform with Bro. Keith Crowley officiating.  Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Merchant; son, Rip Brown; mother, Wanda Duncan (Ivan); sister, Jessica Duncan; brother, Chris Garner; four grandchildren, Kelsey Cotton, Amanda Sagely, Cayson Cooper and Bayliegh Garner and one great-granddaughter, Ameliah Cotton.
Misty was born September 11, 1976 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  She was a member of Carrollton Church of God.  Misty never gave birth to any biological children. She was raising the grandkids as her own and the grands and all kids knew her as Nanna.  She never met a child she didn't love and they all loved her too.
