GORDO | Molly La-Neil Moncrief Fife, age 81, of Gordo, died Dec. 4, 2014, at home. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shawn McDaniel and Rev. Mike Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet "Beaver Dam" Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Foster fife; daughter, Melba Fife Bonner; and her parents.
Survivors include her daughters, Molly Criswell (Jerry), Linda Dunn (Randall), and June Jones (T.J.); son, Marty Fife (Charlene); son-in-law, Mark Bonner; sisters, Bobbie Pearson and Mary Jo King; brother, Ronald Moncrief; five granddaughters, Rebecca Jennings (Daniel), Krystal Junkin (Hunter), Meagan Abramo (Carl), Danielle Thomas (Brad), and Michelle Fife (Brian); five grandsons, Jerry Ray Criswell II (Dani), Randy Dunn (Stacy), Brad Elmore (Betsy), Dale Fife (Ashley), and Josh Bonner (Stacey); 12 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Fife was born October 3, 1933 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Tillmon Moncrief and Mae Robertson Moncrief. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church, a retired seamstress supervisor for XL Manufacturing and Country Miss and a well-known resident of the Gordo area.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jerry Ray, Randy, Brad, Josh, Dale and Daniel.
Honorary pallbearers are friends and neighbors, Gordo Senior Center, Gordo Fire and Rescue and Hospice of West Alabama.
