ALICEVILLE | Mona Heritage Gilliam, age 76, of Aliceville, died Monday, Feb. 2, 2015 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015 at Magnolia Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.She was preceded in death by her husband, John Calvin Gilliam; brother, Roy Lee Heritage, who was MIA in WWII, and her parents.Survivors include her daughter, Terry Cooper (Gary) of Monroe City, Mo.; son, Jimmy D. Ponds of Aliceville; two special people whom she loved and called her daughters, Venus Hester and Donna Taylor; sisters, Mildred Heritage and Martha Hester; brothers, William Webster "Billy" Heritage Jr. (Judy), Jimmy Heritage (Jane), Jack Heritage (Alice), and Rodney Heritage (Jo), and a number of nieces and nephews.Mrs. Gilliam was born August 16, 1938 in Carrollton, Ala. to the late William W. Heritage, Sr. and Lottie Sue Butts Heritage.
