Murray Blackwell McMillian, age 87, of Reform, AL passed away May 27, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS.  Graveside services will be 3:00 pm Friday, June 2, 2023 at Graham Memorial Cemetery with Bro. Wes Jones officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  A short visitation will follow the service at the graveside.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Pearl Ramsey McMillian; his parents; son-in-law, Winston "Winky" Richardson; stepson, Charles Leroy Divel; two sisters, Faye Winebrenner and Oneta H. Brarsh and five brothers, Weldon R. McMillian, Thomas Sharlot McMillian, Lloyd G. McMillian, Whitt D. McMillian and Joe McMillian.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Kincaid McMillian; daughter, Velma Richardson; stepson, Denny Hill; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  Murray was born September 5, 1935 in Nacogdoches, Texas to the late Thomas Silas McMillian and Velma Muckleroy McMillian. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps with 21 ½ years of service and a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Murray was a member of the Baptist faith, a lifetime member of the VFW Post 5568 in Reform and a member of the Masonic Lodge #214 in Carrollton.
