CARROLLTON - Nancy Butler Robbins, age 54, of Carrollton, Ala., died October 17, 2017, at her home. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2017, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Hall and Elder Chris McCool officiating. Burial will follow in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be today, October 19, 2017, from 6 - 8 p.m., at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruthie Richards Butler; uncle, Cowboy Cockrell; and aunts: Johnnie Mae Cockrell and Mary Lee Blackston.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Robbins of Carrollton, Ala.; daughter, Kayla Robbins Junkin and husband, Jason, of Gordo, Ala.; father, James Butler of Carrollton, Ala.; aunt, Netie Dillard of Northport, Ala.; and cousin, Janice Ball of Northport, Ala.
Nancy was born October 5, 1963 in Lowndes County, Mississippi. She was a member of the Pickens Academy Class of 1982, a Pickens Academy Marching Pirates Band Alumni and a graduate of Brewer State.
Nancy was a LPN at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Golden Triangle for 27 years, a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where she served as pianist and a lifelong resident of Pickens County.
Pallbearers will be James Robbins, Bill Fikes, Joe Sanders, Mark Gilliam, Chris Peaks, Ricky Ussery, John Fitzgerald and Jay Steen.
