KENNEDY | Nelly Ruth Wilson, age 79, of Kennedy, died Dec. 7, 2014, at Salem Nursing and Rehab. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alan Magouirk officiating. Burial will follow in Unity Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, and three brothers.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Ralph L. Wilson; daughters, Shirley Stovall and husband, Paul, and Sheila Williams and husband, Danny; son, Kenneth Wilson and wife, Donna; grandchildren, Paul Stovall III and Deven Stovall; step-grandchildren, Joshua Williams and Jacob Williams; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Wilson was born April 20, 1935, in the Republic of Panama to the late Virjelio Angulo and Austravia Casterllo Angulo. She was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church, a retired seamstress, school teacher and well-known resident of this area. Nelly Ruth was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed but will always remain in our hearts.
Honorary pallbearers are Paul Stovall, Paul Stovall III, Jacob Williams and Joshua Williams.
