Nina Joyce “Cissy” Barnett Gibson, age 75, of Gordo, AL died September 8, 2026 at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Friday, September 11, 2026 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Blakney officiating. Burial will be in Gordo City Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Gibson; her son, Jeremy Harcrow; her father, Linden Barnett; mother, Dorothy Sue Murphy Barnett Godfrey and stepfather, William Godfrey.

Survivors include her sons, Chris Harcrow (Jessica) and Lee Gibson (Trista); brother, Linden “Buddy” Barnett and four grandchildren, Samuel Harcrow, Elijah Harcrow, Nicholas Harcrow and Bryce Gibson.

Cissy was born November 6, 1950. She was a retired beautician with over 40 years of service.
