Octavia Howell, better known as GG, went home to meet her heavenly Father while surrounded by the immense love of her children and grandchildren. She was a lady who wore many hats and wore them well. She was an expert seamstress, cook, and gardener. Octavia loved to travel, but loved who she traveled with even more. She loved and supported her husband, Jack, as he ran the family farm; her hard work matched his step for step. Anyone who knew Octavia knew how well she loved others, always lending a hand, making a meal, knitting a baby blanket and leading Sunday school. Her children were fortunate to have had such a Godly and loving mother who passed her gifts onto them. She was so proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who she loved and prayed for daily. She was looking forward to being reunited with the love of her life, Jack. Octavia was an unstoppable force who was always dressed to the nines and never left the house without her makeup. We know that in heaven with her Savior Jesus, she's never looked more radiant.
Pallbearers will be Matt Farris, Dallas Howell, Ben Howell, Graydon Hall, Darrel Hughes, Robby Butler, Tim Hughes and Kevin Brown.
Honorary Pallbearers are members of her travel group, volunteers at the Cornerstone Bread of Life Food Pantry and members of the Wesley Sunday School Class.
