GORDO | Ola Mae O'Bryant, age 94, of Gordo, died December 13, 2014, at home. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Clemments and Rev. Ricky Trull officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhill Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be tonight, December 15, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clayton O'Bryant; great-grandson, Ethan Riley George; parents; four sisters; and six brothers.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Trull (Henry) of Gordo, Ala.; son, Bobby O'Bryant (Betty) of Gordo, Ala.; six grandchildren, Twanika Thompson (Keith) of Waterloo, Ala., Ricky Earl Trull (Sandra) of Ft. Polk, La., Quitina Clemments (Tommy) of Northport, Ala., Michael Jerome O'Bryant (Angela) of Las Vegas, Nev., Melisa George (Mike) of Gordo, Ala., and Kenneth Allen O'Bryant (Christy) of Fosters, Ala.; twelve great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. O'Bryant was born in Sumter County, Ala., on August 28, 1920, to the late Leslie Lee Conner Sr. and Mary Agnus "Dolly" Gallant Conner. She was a retired employee of Westinghouse in Reform, and was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church, in Gordo, Ala., where she was a charter member and the oldest living member at the time of her death.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.
