Opal Kelley Richardson age 79 of Coker, AL. passed away March 26, 2021 at Northport Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 29, 2021 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Curtis Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will one hour prior to the service at the church.
Opal was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Richardson; her parents; her daughter, Robin Dunn, and her sisters, Reva Jean Adams and Norma Kay Kelley.
Opal was survived by her daughters, Karen Smelly (Jeff) and Paige Yates (Charlie); one brother, Curtis Kelley (Barbara); grandchildren, Lauren Smelley, Kyle Smelley, Joshua Dunn, Ashley Dunn, Caleb Dunn, Andrea Schofield, Chasity Colburn, Brooklyn Moffit, and Metisha Loudermilk and great-grandchildren, Robin Dunn, Payton Dunn, Brielle Dunn, Austin Boothe, Anderson Schofield, Riley Boothe, Gunner Colburn, Jayce Smith, Josie Smith, Jayda Yates, Jeremiah Moffitt, Delilah Loudermilk, and Nataly Woodle.
Opal was born on February 16, 1942 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Curtis Amon Kelley and Ruth Catherine Springfield Kelley.
