GORDO | Patricia A. Aycock Fair, age 72, of Gordo, died January 17, 2015, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, January 19, 2015, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Terry Billings. Burial will follow in Greenhill Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Fair, and her parents.
Survivors include her daughter, Tracey Fair Homan and husband, James, of Gordo, Ala.; son, Robert Fair, and wife, Jo, of Demopolis, Ala.; sisters, Ronnie Hultz of Gordo, Ala., and Sherry McGraw of Foley, Ala.; brother, Larry Aycock (Linda) of Lillian, Ala.; four grandchildren, Tiffany Skinner (Tim), Lance Homan (Ashley), Tyler Fair, and Anna Homan; three great-grandchildren, Logan Skinner, Tenley Homan, and Samuel Skinner; special cousins, Fran Knight, Carol Weldon, and Beverly Conway; and nieces and nephew, Sonja Pelot, Cash McGraw, and Denita Joyce.
Mrs. Fair was born December 10, 1942, in Fairfield, Ala., to the late Robert M. ""Bob"" Aycock and Floree Acker Aycock. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, a retired business owner and a well-known resident of Pickens County.
Pallbearers will be James Homan, Lance Homan, Tyler Fair, Tim Skinner, Larry Aycock, and Matt Davis.
Honorary pallbearers are Laresa, Alton, and Emily Scarber, Polly Christian, and special thanks to Dr. Clint McEntyre, TSCCU, and ACCU staff of DCH Regional Medical Center, Jolene Guyton and Shirley Wright with Caring Hands and Dr. Mohammad Azam.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Gordo Fire Department, 245 2nd St. SW, Gordo, AL 35466, or to your local animal shelter.
