Patricia "Patsy" Ann Gore Burkhalter, age 79, of Reform, AL passed away June 27, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Todd Burkhalter and Rev. Robert Heard officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhill Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home.
Patsy was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, John Ellis Gore and her parents.
She will be fondly remembered by her husband of 8 years, Ganus; daughter, Donna Street (Russell) of Columbus, MS; son, David Gore of Columbus, MS; Ganus' son, Todd Burkhalter (Keria) of Coaling, AL; five grandchildren, Jon Michael Gore, Todd Gore, Margaret Ann Street, Katelyn Burkhalter and Audrey Burkhalter and sister, Nancy Kirk (Bond) of Tuscaloosa, AL.
Patsy was born September 7, 1941 in Carrollton, Alabama to the late Robert Herbert Thaxton and Margaret Lipsey Thaxton. Patsy, a lifelong resident of Pickens County, enjoyed doing yard work and sharing her musical talents as a pianist and organist. She was a very active member of Carrollton Baptist Church and she retired from the USDA Farm Service Agency in Carrollton.
Honorary Pallbearers are the members of Carrollton Baptist Church.
