Patty Sanders Milton, age 93, of Mountain Brook, AL passed away December 30, 2024 in Gallatin, Tennessee.  Private family services will be held.
Patty was a native of Pickensville in Pickens County, Alabama, attended Huntingdon College and the University of Alabama and was a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.  She worked as an editor in St. Louis before moving to Virginia where she lived for sixteen years and worked for a time as an editor and research assistant for the Secretary of the Air Force in the Pentagon.  She moved to Birmingham in 1971 and was a free-lance writer with a number of articles published in various magazines.  She was a member of Mountain Brook Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hilary Milton and her parents, Rodgers Sanders and Fannie Mae Ezelle Sanders.
She is survived by her daughter, Michelle M. Seibert and husband, Louis of Hendersonville, TN and her son, David R. Milton of Fayetteville, GA.
