ETHELSVILLE – Paul James Dill, age 58, of Ethelsville, Ala., died October 7, 2017, at home. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at Forest Methodist Church with Rev. Rickey Green and Charlie Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. The family will receive friends at the Forest Community Center immediately following the service.
He was preceded in death by his parents and mother-in-law, Jennelle Cummings.
Survivors include his wife, Melanie Cummings Dill of Ethelsville, Ala.; daughter, Amanda Dill McKinnie (Allan); son, Brandon Dill (Mary); grandchildren, Addison McKinnie, Maxwell Dill and Savannah Dill; father-in-law, Alfred Jerry Cummings; brother and sister-in-law, Kevin Cummings (Mary Beth) and niece, Mary Rose Cummings.
Paul was born February 26, 1959 in Birmingham, Ala. to the late Thomas James Dill and Mary Ann Dowdle Dill. He was a member of the Methodist faith, owner of Dixie Electronics and Southern Fireplaces and a well-known resident of Pickens County.
Pallbearers will be Mike Langford, Dale Brill, Kevin Cummings, Guy Wilcox, Bill McKinzey and Mike Smith.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Forest United Methodist Church, 111 County Road 89, Ethelsville, AL 35461.
