Paul Hewlett Fendley, age 68, of Gordo, AL died July 12, 2026 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday, July 20, 2026 at Hannah Church in Gordo with Bro. Herb Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Laland Fendley and Vaudine Booth Fendley; his sister, Kathy Fendley Lindsey and brother-in-law, Gene McCool. He is survived by other family members.

Paul was born December 11, 1957 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He was a welder by trade and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Pallbearers will be Bo Woodard, Jonathan McCool, Conner McCool, Ian McCool, Darrell Clardy and Dawson Lynn.

Honorary Pallbearers are Johnny Booth, Larry Hollingsworth and Barry Fields.
