Peggy Jones Ray, age 82, of Carrollton, AL died November 5 , 2026 at her residence. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Sunday, November 8, 2026 at Cross Roads Baptist Church in Carrollton with Bro. Joe Fondren officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Daniel “Sonny” Ray; her parents, Richard and Marine Ray; sisters, Barbara Jones, Sandra Sultzbach and Joyce Ray and brother, William L. “Bill” Jones.

Survivors include her daughter, Vicky R. Klug and husband, Rodney; son, Tony W. Ray and wife, Rhonda; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Peggy was born February 6, 1944 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Richard O. Jones and Gertrude Marine Rodgers Jones. She was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church in Carrollton and a retired employee of Seminole Manufacturing in Columbus, MS.
