Peggy Joyce Snider, age 76, of Gordo, AL passed away September 6, 2022 at her daughter's residence in Midland, Georgia. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Monday, September 12, 2022 at Flatwoods Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service inside the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmon Delaine Snider; her parents; brothers, Winford Shirley, Archie Shirley and Ellis Shirley and brother-in-law, Ronnie Clark
Survivors include her daughter, Marceea Delynn Knox and husband, Tim; sisters, Faye Marlowe (J.L.) and Jean Clark; brother, Wayne Shirley; two grandchildren, Joshua Knox and Meggan Knox and seven great-grandchildren, Mikialah Neaveh Knox, Moses Knox, Kulaya Knox, Morgan Knox, Kamron Knox, Jacob Knox and Jaklynn Knox.
Peggy was born July 30, 1946 in Gordo, Alabama to the late Ross Shirley and Gladys Adell Harris Shirley. She was self-employed and a member of Flatwoods Baptist Church.
