James Ottis "Pete" McCrackin, age 59, of Reform, AL passed away October 3, 2021 at his residence. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhill Memorial Gardens with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediatley following the service at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his son, James Colt McCrackin; his mother, Lottie Bell Perrigin McCrackin and sister, Sandy McCrackin Hudson.
Survivors include his father, Odie McCrackin and a number of cousins.
Pete was born December 20, 1961 in Reform, Alabama. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, a former employee of Arvin Industries in Fayette and a lifelong resident of Pickens County.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Kyles, James Plowman, Keith Savage, Shane Peeks, Herbert House, Freddy Ray Savage, William Ashmore and Jimmy Bonner.
