GORDO | Phillip Alan Bonner, age 60, of Gordo, died December 18, 2014. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Bonner officiating. Burial will follow in Arbor Springs Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service and immediately after.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Cecil Bonner; and sister-in-law, Mary Belle Bonner.
Survivors include his wife, Monica Elaine Bonner of Gordo, Ala.; stepdaughter, Jamie Ann Gilliland of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; brother, Errol Marcus Bonner (Marina) of Bryant, Arkansas; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Alan was born December 17, 1954 in Reform, Alabama to the late Woodrow Cecil Bonner and Vera Doris Harper Bonner. He was a member of Coal Fire Baptist Church and was a retired welder.
Honorary pallbearers are Jim and Becky Elmore, Robert and Connie Acker, Jeff Noland, George and Betty Wharton, Terry and Linda Lee, and Betty Sue Maughan.
