Joseph Randall Mullenix, age 83, of Elrod, AL passed away April 26, 2023 at his residence.  Graveside services will be 11:00 am Friday, April 28, 2023 at Dunns Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Richard Crawford officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  Visitation will follow the service in the church sanctuary.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tiya Mullenix; his parents; brother, Harold Mullenix and sister, Nelda Meade.
Survivors include his wife, Nita Stewart Mullenix; son, Joey Mullenix and wife, Susie;
granddaughters, Abbie Hanson (Dustin) and Gracie Mullenix; brother-in-law, Butch Meade of Moundville, AL; sister-in-law, Carolyn Mullenix; niece, Sandra Wood (Evan); nephews, John Mullenix, Jason Mullenix (Dana) and Nick Meade (Molly) and a number of great-nieces and nephews.
Randall was born August 21, 1939 in Echola, Alabama to the late Floyd Woodrow Mullenix and Louise Brown Mullenix.  He was a member of Dunns Creek Baptist Church, a retired farmer and United States Army veteran.
Honorary Pallbearers are members of Dunns Creek Baptist Church and the Echola community.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Gracie Mullenix Kidney Transplant Fund at any Bryant Bank location, checks made payable to Gracie Mullenix.
