Rebecca "Becky" Blakney Channell, age 66, of Coker, AL passed away January 15, 2022 at her residence. Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Friday, January 21, 2022 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Blakney officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dawn Leigh Fleishman; her parents and brother, Ronald Lee Blakney.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Channell; daughter, Kellie Tipton (Robert); sons, Robbie Harris and David Channell; special daughter, Tonya Shows (Alex); brother, Richard Blakney; sister, Patricia Richardson; sister-in-law, Brenda Blakney; six grandchildren, Michelle Fleishman (Tanya), Kelcey Thacker (Jesse), Cesley Channell, Wesley Harris, Madison Tipton and Zach Smith; nine great-grandchildren, Ella Grace, Houston, Oaklyn, Ozella, Matthew, Abbie, Kyler, Alaya and Sebastian and a number of nieces and nephews.
Becky was born May 25, 1955 in Fayette, Alabama to the late James "Junior" Blakney, Jr. and Bertha Leigh Crowell Blakney. She was a homemaker.
Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. Debra Davis, Tammy with Encompass Hospice and Megan with Encompass Home Health.
