Reva Marie Jaynes, age 81, of Ethelsville, AL died March 31, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in
Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Ethelsville Baptist Church
with Bro. David Westmoreland and Bro. Mel Howton officiating. Burial will follow in the Ethelsville
Community Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be Tuesday,
from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Audrey L. Gore; brother, Ramon L. Lancaster;
three sisters-in-law and one brother in law.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Earl Jaynes; her daughter, Teressa Darnell Livingston (Tim);
two sons, Robert Alan Jaynes (Kim) and Kenneth Errol Jaynes (Linda); one sister, Marilyn Diane Bain (Bobby);
one brother, John Earl Lancaster (Barbara); two grandchildren, Kayla Sheree Jaynes Alexander (Louie) and
Robert Lee Jaynes; one great-grandchild, Madison Alexander and a number of nieces and nephews.
Marie was born June 7, 1937 in Carrollton, Alabama to the late Elmer E. Lancaster and Mary Olean
Harcrow Lancaster. She was a member of Ethelsville Baptist Church, a retired employee of American Bosch
in Columbus, MS and a life long resident of Pickens County.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Lancaster, Mike Gore, Lee Jaynes, Jimmy Bain, Bryan Jaynes, Louie
Alexander and Nathan Estes.
Honorary Pallbearers are members of Ethelsville Baptist Church.
