REFORM – Rex Allen Grace, age 59, of Reform, Ala., died March 5, 2016, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Meherg officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be tonight, Monday, March 7, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his parents and aunt, Ola Mae Grace.Survivors include his wife, Susan Williams Grace; daughter, Ramie A. Grace; son, John A. Grace; and brother, Donald Ray Grace (Donna).Rex was born June 14, 1956 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Essex Grace and Dollie Price Grace. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, a farmer and a lifelong resident of Pickens County.Rex will be remembered as a true pillar of the community. He loved farming and rural living as well as the friends and family who surrounded him. Rex was an active member of the FFA, winning the honor of the American Farmer Degree. He went on to be an active member of the Farm Bureau and Alabama Cattlemen's Association. Rex will be missed by family and friends as a loving husband, father, brother, true friend, and reliable neighbor to countless people. His legacy lives on in the impact he made on every life he touched.Pallbearers will be Simuel Latham, Terry Cook, Roger Minton, David Kelly, Derek McGahey, Keith Swedenburg, Roger Swedenburg, Luke Swedenburg and Mark Prater.Honorary pallbearers are Hospice of West Alabama and the doctors and staff of the Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Treatment Center.The family suggests that memorials be made to the Pickens County Cattlemen's Association Scholarship Fund, c/o Alabama Cattlemen's Association, 201 S.
