Ricky Lane McCool, age 66, of Gordo, AL passed away July 14, 2023 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.  Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Center Springs Cemetery in Gordo with Rev. Scott McCown officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.  A short visitation will follow the service at the graveside.
He was preceded in death by his father, Buford McCool and grandparents, Floyd and Pauline Shirley and Jim and Eula McCool.
Survivors include his mother, Violet Shirley McCool; his son, Joshua McCool; two brothers, Randy McCool and wife, Frances and Rodney McCool and wife Mitzi and two grandchildren, Jakob and Colton and and a number of nieces and nephews.
Ricky was born October 27, 1956 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  He was an employee of Kernop Cabinet Company.
