Rita Louise Sanders, age 76, of Reform, AL passed away February 20, 2024.  Private memorial services will be held.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Roma Jean Sanders.
She never had children of her own, but the ones she called her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were daughter, Chris Price and husband, Dennis; grandchildren, Jacob Price (Hannah), Koby Holloway (Hunter) and Dusti Cameron (Hugh) and great-grandchildren, Walt Price, Hayden and Korben Holloway and Hattie Cameron.  She is also survived by her brother, James O. Sanders, Jr. and wife, Martha Kate; nephews, Charles Andrew Sanders and James Gregory Sanders and cousins, Berry Lee, Patricia Leach, Judy Harless and Roma Criswell.
Rita was born May 16, 1947 in Gordo, Alabama to the late James O. Sanders, Sr. and Louise Daniel Sanders.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Gordo and also attended Hickory Grove Baptist Church. Rita was a retired schoolteacher, a member of the Las Amigas Club and a big time Alabama sports fan.  She was a very big hearted and unselfish person who desired always to help others.
