Robert O. "Lanny" Pate, age 64, of Gordo, AL passed away January 26, 2021 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, January 29, 2021 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Randy Anderson and Bro. Brent Edgeworth officiating. Burial will follow in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Sue Cox and daughter, Heather McEachern.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce A. Pate of Gordo, AL; three daughters, Brandi Kizziah (Korey) of Elrod, AL, Brittany Edgeworth (Brent) of Gordo, AL and Alison Martin (Blake) of Gordo, AL; his father, Robert Pate (Ida); brother, Rowdy Pate (Sarah); two sisters, Rosanna Prewitt (Scott) and Rhonda White (Shae); eight grandchildren, Mikayla, Madison, Korbyn, Katelyn, Will, Haleigh, Maliri and Jaxson and one great-grandchild, Bentlee.
Lanny was born August 20, 1956 in Reform, Alabama. He was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church and retired warehouse manager.

Honorary Pallbearers are a very special nurse and friend, Javaris and his wife Tashina Polk, J. J. O'Bryant, Dr. Anne Lewis, Dr. Rosemarie Caillier, doctors and nurses of MICU 3rd Floor at DCH and members of New Harmony Baptist Church.
