Roger Raymon Tunnell, age 59, of Elrod, Alabama died October 14, 2018 at DCH Regional Medical
Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. Randy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Hargrove Methodist Church Cemetery in Gordo
with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be tonight, Tuesday, October 16th from 6 - 8 pm
at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Wanda Sue Tunnell.
Survivors include his wife, Corintha "Cricket" Hager Tunnell; his daughter, Cindy Gann; his son, Glenn Tunnell;
one sister, Judy Robertson (Danny); brothers, I. B. Tunnell (Angilo), Leroy Tunnell, William "Jimbo" Tunnell, George
Tunnell (Linda) and Joe Tunnell and two grandchildren, Mason Gann and Jayden Gann.
Roger was born May 6, 1959 in Gordo, Alabama to the late Walter Blufus Tunnell and Verdie Driver Tunnell.
He was a truck driver for Peco Farms in Gordo for 43 years. He loved his family, was a great provider and he
especially loved to fish.
Pallbearers will be Mason Gann, David Tunnell, James Plowman, Rayford Hudson, Terrell Cargile and Tony Cargile.
Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. Shakker and staff, employees of Peco Farms, the Lewis and Faye
Manderson Cancer Center and all of his special friends.
