COLUMBUS - Ronald James Werner, age 54, of Columbus, MS died October 28, 2019 at Baptist Medical Center - Golden Triangle. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 pm Friday, November 1, 2019 at Skelton Funeral Home in Reform, AL.
He was preceded in death by his biological parents, James and Mattie Butler; his adoptive parents, Phil and Phyllis Werner and two brothers, Charlie and Roger Dale Butler.
Survivors include six brothers, Jerry Butler (Bessie), Bill Butler, Eddie Butler, Billy Butler, Pete Floyd (April) and his twin, Donald Werner (Gwen); five sisters, Beth Skelton (Richard) , Mary Mayne, Donna Coleman (Roger), Susan Brown and Cassandra Teem (Shannon) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ronald was born September 24, 1965 in Columbus, Mississippi. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Columbus / Lowndes Humane Society, 50 Airline Road, Columbus, MS 39702.
